Ferrari Amalfi Spider Debuts: A 640 HP Tribute to Open-Top Grand Touring
Discover the new Ferrari Amalfi Spider featuring a 640 hp twin-turbo V8, Rosso Tramonto paint, and a retractable fabric soft-top. Explore specs and design.

The Art of the Italian Drop-Top
Ferrari has officially pulled the wraps off its latest open-air masterpiece, the Amalfi Spider. Designed at the Ferrari Design Studio under the watchful eye of Flavio Manzoni, the Amalfi Spider is a masterclass in minimalist aesthetics. The vehicle introduces a sleek, sculpted silhouette that remains striking whether the roof is deployed or stowed. Highlighting the debut is a new exterior paint finish, Rosso Tramonto, which draws inspiration from the vibrant sunsets of the Amalfi Coast.
V8 Power and Precision Engineering
At the heart of the Amalfi Spider lies the legendary F154 engine family. This 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 has been tuned to deliver a staggering 640 hp and 760 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels via an advanced eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, a unit derived from the flagship SF90 Stradale. The result is blistering performance: a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h. To keep this power in check, Ferrari has integrated its latest Side Slip Control 6.1 and an active rear spoiler capable of generating 110 kg of downforce.
A Technical and Tactile Cabin
Inside, the Amalfi Spider utilizes a dual-cockpit layout that creates an immersive experience for both the driver and passenger. The driver is greeted by a 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster, while the passenger can monitor performance metrics like G-force on a dedicated 8.8-inch display. Modernity meets tradition on the steering wheel, where physical buttons return alongside Ferrari’s iconic aluminium start button. The vehicle also prioritizes grand touring practicality, offering a bespoke fabric soft-top that retracts in just 13.5 seconds at speeds up to 60 km/h.
Redefining the Grand Tourer
The Amalfi Spider represents a strategic bridge between raw performance and lifestyle luxury. While it shares DNA with Ferrari’s most hardcore track machines, its focus on luggage capacity—offering up to 255 litres with the roof open—and a specialized wind deflector suggests a car built for long-distance coastal drives. Accompanied by Ferrari’s seven-year Genuine Maintenance programme, the Amalfi Spider is set to become a benchmark for the next generation of premium convertibles.
